Christmas Day 2027 falls on Saturday, 25 December. For people who don't usually work on a Saturday, the public holiday moves to Monday, 27 December. Christmas Day is a restricted trading day, but small grocery shops (such as dairies and superettes) can open on Christmas Day if they sell only food, drink, household and personal items people may need at any time, in quantities for the local area. Whether a Four Square qualifies depends on the store. Four Square hasn't published Christmas Day 2027 opening hours that we could verify (checked 16 October 2026).
